Getting Started

Before Acidcat CMS can be successfully installed on your web site you will need to allow read_write access to the 'databases' directory and to another directory of your choice for uploading and viewing files, eg. 'read_write'. Either you or your web host must enable this.

Database Connection Check
  Acidcat CMS uses a Microsoft Access database. A connection to this database will need to be established.
(a) System DSN Setup
Specify database name:

What will be the name of your Web site?

Upload directory

The upload directory is a directory on your server that has read/write access enabled. Either you or your web host must enable this.

Example: if your upload directory was called 'read_write' and its URL was http://127.0.0.1/read_write, then your upload directory would be: /read_write

 
What is the name of your upload directory?

Note: You can specify this directory later within the Configuration area.

Test Upload
 

Click here to upload a test file to your server.

Test Read Files in Upload Directory
  Click here to view the files in your read/write directory.
Installation Complete
 

Your installation is now complete. Important: you must now delete the 'install' directory from your web server.
